Todd Richards currently serves as a Senior Contracting Officer and Business Development Specialist for the Enterprise GWAC Center in Ft. Worth, TX. Todd’s primary responsibilities include educating federal customers in the proper use of GWAC contracts as well as assisting contractors in marketing their contract.
Todd has served over 20 years in the Federal Government, and over 16 of those years have been in contracting. Todd began his career as an active duty Air Force officer, serving both as a Nuclear Missile Launch Officer and a Contracting Officer. He then served 4 years with the US Patent and Trademark Office as a Senior Contracting Officer. Todd has been with GSA for 7 years, and most of this time has been spent in the Office of Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS), where he served as a Contracting Officer providing support to a global customer base.
Todd has a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette as well as a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Regis University. Todd is also a graduate of the Air Force Education With Industry (EWI) program. Todd is a FAC-C Level III certified contracting officer.
Vicki Schwab, PMP, is a Kodak Operating System (KOS) Lean Leader at Eastman Kodak where she focuses on continuous improvement efforts throughout the Kettering, Ohio, facility. Previously, she collaborated in setting up the first Project Management Office at Rocky Brands Company in Nelsonville, OH. Prior to her experience with outdoor gear, Vicki spent eight years as a Systems Analyst / Project Manager before becoming a Six Sigma Lean Expert in the Aerospace Division of Honeywell International. She is a certified Project Management Professional and is active in the Dayton PMI chapter.
Michelle Orloff is a project manager for TEKsystems and currently manages IT projects for a large consumer products client. Michelle’s prior project management experience includes interactive/web and technical communications projects. Prior to working for TEKsystems, Michelle worked as a program manager, proposal manager, strategic consultant, interactive project manager, and technical writer. Michelle is a certified Project Management Professional and also holds an MBA.
Gary Strawsburg, PMP, CSCP is a former US Marine working with BAE Systems as a Sr. Project Manager in support of the US Air Force Expeditionary Combat Support System (ECSS) Implementation Project. Gary brings over twenty-eight years of diversified leadership experience throughout all facets of supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution environments in both the armed forces and private sector. His portfolio spans further into Systems Business Consulting, Applications Training, Project Management, Business Process Re-engineering, Lean Six-Sigma while functioning in a CMMI Level 3 rated environment. Gary is a certified Project Management Professional, a certified Supply Chain Professional, and he holds degrees in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
Amy Hager is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and ASQ certified Six Sigma Black Belt with over 20 years of direct organizational and consulting experience in strategy, human resources, process management and information technology management. After receiving her MBA from Wright State University with a focus on quality management, Amy became a key resource in harnessing information technology to improve business productivity at the Dayton Power and Light Company. She has consulted with companies such as PeopleSoft (now Oracle), IBM and currently Centric Consulting. Amy has played the role of the strategist, the user, the business analyst, the tester, and the program/project manager for many successfully completed software development projects. She has implemented a requirements management process and conducted six sigma projects to improve the quality development of requirements in the software industry.
Cela Sweeney, PMP, is a Principal Consultant for Robbins-Gioia, LLC. She has 17 years of experience in project management with a wide variety of DoD and commercial organizations. Cela is a Subject Matter Expert in Project Scheduling. She has developed and presented several seminars on the subject of scheduling as well as a 2-day course she teaches for the Robbins-Gioia University.
Tom McCann has over thirty years of increasingly responsible positions in the management and support of major Defense related programs. He was one of the founders of and was President of Modern Technologies Corporation (MTC) here in Dayton. At MTC, his responsibilities included corporate planning, operations management, business development, contract execution and proposal management. He holds an M.S. in Industrial Engineering, from the Ohio State University.
He provides consulting services through Enterprise Management Consulting Company. His primary areas of interest are strategy development, business planning and project and performance management. His clients include companies involved with Information Technology, Research and Development, training and education and product track and trace technology. He and his wife Judy operate Golden Glen Farms, a Thoroughbred breeding and racing facility near Yellow Springs and he is a Board Member of the Ohio Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners, the Greene County Farm Bureau and Defense Research Associates, Inc. and is currently the President of Grid Sentry LLC, a start-up in the utility distribution grid space.
David Short, PMP, SCMP has been doing project management for nearly 20 years in private, public government, and NGO sectors. David is currently the Projects and Development Director for El Shaddai Ministries International, Inc. (www.esmihaiti.org), which is an NGO that has been operating in Haiti for the past 17 years. David is managing all of the development projects for the operations which includes: 48 churches, 29 schools with over 6000 students, 19 orphanages caring for 2200+ children, 5 medical clinics, 50+ micro-businesses, computer labs for IT training, 2 warehouses, and a new seminary under construction. David recently managed the OCX Migration Program Management Office (PMO) at Visa Inc, which was a $480M program chartered with the construction of a new data center and office complex and the migration of existing systems and personnel to that facility with no downtime to the organization, completing the project 3 months early and $80M under budget. David has his Advanced Masters Certification in Project Management from George Washington University and ESI International, and his Stanford Advanced Project Management Certification from Stanford University.
Larry Isenbarger, PMP, is a Program Manager in the Military Business Unit of Goodrich Aircraft Wheels and Brakes. He has over 20 years of experience in various industries and has managed development programs for the likes of Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Hawker Beechcraft and United Space Alliance. His most recent accomplishment came when his Goodrich team introduced electric brakes on the Global Hawk program, an aerospace industry first. He was certified in 2008 as a lean practitioner and is currently pursuing his Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Tom Krusemark, Procurement Center Representative, US Small Business Administration (Department of Defense Activities, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH; Environmental Protection Agency, Cincinnati, OH; Department of Energy, Cincinnati, OH). Oversees activities for Small Business Compliance, training, contract/acquisition review, totaling more than $50 Billion per year. Air Force Veteran (Retired Lt Colonel) with 27 years of active duty service. Served two tours as a Contracting Squadron Commander at two of the largest Space Wings in Air Force Space Command; two years as Pacific Air Forces Command Director of Small Business; one year as a Contingency Contracting Officer responding to natural disaster support in the Far Eastern theater; one year as a Contracting Congressional Liaison to the Pacific Air Forces Command; three years in R&D Contracting as lead Contracting Officer for the Department of Defense Star Wars Defense Initiative Office in Kirtland AFB, NM. Dr. Jeanette Robinson, Small Business Director for the Air Force Program Executive Office (AF PEO) Enterprise Logistics Systems (ELS), Wright- Patterson Air Force Base, OH. She advises and assists contracting, program managers, and requirements personnel on all matters that affect small businesses, historically black colleges and universities or minority institutions, and labor surplus area concerns. Dr. Robinson aids, counsels, and assists various types of small businesses by providing advice concerning acquisition procedures; information regarding proposed acquisitions; and instructions on preparation of proposals in the interpretation of standard clauses, representations, and certifications. She maintains an outreach program (including participation in Government-industry conferences and regional interagency small business councils) designed to locate and develop information on the technical competence of small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, veteran owned, historically black colleges and universities, and minority institutions. Dr. Robinson ensures that financial assistance, available under existing regulations, is offered and also assists small businesses in obtaining payments under their contracts, late payments, and interest. Before serving as a Small Business Director, she has served as a program manager and contracting officer, with over 29 years of experience in federal acquisition strategies. She has received numerous awards and recognitions. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Law and Business from Wright State University, Master’s in Acquisition Management, and a Master’s of Science, and 2 Doctorate of Philosophy Degrees from Walden University. In addition, Dr. Jeanette Robinson is the recipient of the United States Air Force Civilian Achievement Award, and winner of the “2004 Governor’s Award for Women’s Excellence in Business.” She received a professional membership to the National Speakers Association in 1994. She was named “Who’s Who” by the Professional National Speaker’s Association in 1994 and has presented at conferences throughout the United States to support Small Business efforts for the Department of Defense.
Linda Greaves, 30 years in Air Force Contracting. Started her career in Civil Service in Contracting at Hanscom AFB, MA as GS 03 in the contract distribution office. She traveled with her AF active duty husband to Hickam AFB, HI and then on to Patrick AFB, FL where she held various positions to include an unlimited Contracting Officer Warrants. In May 2000, she accepted the Director of Business Operations position at the1st Contracting Squadron at Langley AFB, VA. She held that position for 7 years before accepting the Director of Small Business Programs position for HQ Air Combat Command in September 2007. In February 2009 she moved to Wright-Patterson AFB, OH to become the Deputy Director of SB Programs for HQ Air Force Materiel Command.
She has her APDP Level III in Contracting, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Rollins College, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Contract Management from Florida Institute of Technology.
Dr. John O’Hair is Chief Scientist and Director of Research for the Advanced Technical Intelligence Center (ATIC). He has developed and teaches numerous classes in the area of technical intelligence through several Dayton area colleges and universities. In addition to those duties, he is also a certified trainer of the Palantir Government analysis system.
Thomas Skill (Ph.D. 1984 - State University of New York at Buffalo) is Associate Provost & CIO at the University of Dayton. He joined the Provost Office in 1997. Dr. Skill has over 30 years of computing and communications technology experience in higher education. He has been on the faculty at the University of Dayton since 1984 and currently holds the rank of Professor in the Department of Communication.
David J. Wright (Ph.D. 1989 – University of Iowa) is the Director of the Office of Curriculum Innovation and E-Learning at the University of Dayton. He supports the professional development needs of faculty in the area of technology-enhanced learning and manages services associated with the design and delivery of online courses. He has been on the faculty of the University of Dayton since 1996 and currently holds the rank of Associate Professor in the Department of Biology.
Jeremy Mazovsky’s career at the University of Dayton began when he accepted a co-op position with UDit as an undergraduate in 1997. Now the Director of Information Technology for the College of Arts and Sciences, Jeremy plans, establishes, and administers the overall policies and goals for information technology acquisition and utilization within the College. He has a B.S. in Computer Information Systems (2002) from the University of Dayton.
Klint Walker is the Command Information Assurance Manager (IAM) for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. NASIC is the Air Force analysis center for foreign air, space and specialized intelligence. As IAM he is responsible for implementing and enforcing the Information Security (IS) policy and procedures for a National Center of Excellence. His ten years of experience in the Information Security field spans both the government and private sector.
Wm. David (Dave) Salisbury (Ph. D., University of Calgary, 1996) is an Associate Professor with the Department of Management and Information Systems in the School of Business Administration at the University of Dayton. Dave’s research has investigated organizational impacts of information technology, particularly the influence of computer-mediated communication on group interaction, and how technology is used to store and transmit organizational knowledge. He also has published papers featuring the use of structural equation modeling for confirmatory factor analysis in survey measurement development. Some of Dave’s more recent work includes the study of knowledge-management and virtual aspects of criminal and terrorist organizations and how internet information intermediaries may influence offered and transacted prices. His work has been published in Information Systems Research, Small Group Research, Information & Management, Decision Support Systems, The Communications of the AIS, The Database for Advances in Information Systems, and Electronic Markets. An regular reviewer for MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Communications of the ACM, and Communications of the AIS, Dave also currently serves as a Senior Editor at The Database for Advances in Information Systems, and has served multiple times as an Associate Editor at the International Conference on Information Systems. Dave recently served as the Division Chair in Information Systems for the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada Conference, having served as IS Proceedings Editor in 2008 and IS Track Chair in 2009. In 1998, Dave was awarded the Thomas W. Hinkle Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award by the College of Business and Industry at Mississippi State University. In 2000 Dave and his colleagues received the Best Paper Award in the Learning Track, at the Americas Conference on Information Systems. |
